Anne Kirk, Designer
I fell in love with England first and interior design second. But to be honest it was all fairly intertwined. While studying abroad in rural Hampshire I spent my days off in London going from museum to museum soaking it all in. I thought this museum habit was an indication that I should pursue a career in art history. But one day it occurred to me that what I loved (maybe even more than the art) were the actual spaces within those museums: the sounds, the smells, the colors, the layouts – the designs of the buildings themselves. Once I figured that out I was on the right track.
I returned to Southern California where I began studying Interior Design at the UCLA Extension in Santa Monica. And then I hopped across the Atlantic one more time to complete my studies in Architectural Interior Design at The Inchbald School of Design in London. I graduated from that program in 2001. And I’ve been designing ever since, including whole house remodels, decoration, custom furniture design, and color consultations for art exhibitions.
In the last ten years I’ve moved around a little bit more (to Oregon & Pennsylvania), married a wonderful man, and welcomed two beautiful children. My husband is a true partner in life and in design. And we are thrilled to be home in beautiful Montana.
We believe that good design can enhance people’s lives, and that creating a wholesome home is a worthy investment of everyone’s time and money. And we would love to partner with you in creating a home that is easy to love.
